Bijindo Island, South Korea

Bijindo Island, South Korea is stepping back into time. This lovely island is located south of a fishing town called Namhae. The only way to the island is by ferry. The ferry is 15,000 won (15USD) round trip. There are couple of small hotels. I suggest going May or September, when the crowds are dead but the weather and water is still warm. The hiking is wonderful and there is water activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, etc. available. There are two little villages on the island and one or two cars. The people live simple on the island and looks like pre industrialize Korea. The beach water is clear. I highly recommend anyone who visits South Korea, to visit Bijindo Island, especially if one is a beach lover. If you have any questions feel free to shot me a message.
